Simpson O ver 700 million results pop up when you “Goo- gle” the bene ts of e-Learning! at’s because e-Learning has grown by 900% since 2001. Technology has revolutionized teaching and learning. Lec- tures and seminars are no longer con ned to the classroom. e following is a condensed list of the many bene ts of e-Learning: 1. Unlike the traditional chalk and board method of teach- ing, online learning or e-Learning makes learning simpler, easier and more e ective. E-Learning has transformed how learning is imparted to students. 2. Online learning is very convenient and cost-e ective. Training time and expense are reduced for trainers, travel, physical course materials and accommodations. It’s “easy on the budget.” 72% of organizations believe e-Learning helps them increase their competitive edge. 3. Using online learning, learners may seek relevant, mobile, self-paced and personalized content. ey can de ne their own speed of learning instead of following the speed of an entire group. According to the Research Institute of Amer- ica, e-Learning increases retention rates 25% to 60% versus 8-10% for face-to-face training.
