5 ISSUE 5 2018 Hello CTAAMembers and Future Members! O ctober is in full swing and fall is in the air, or at least pumpkin spice is…. Our new website and association management soft- ware is up and running! I’m so excited for our members to see it and start using the tools that come with this new platform. YES - online event registration will be available! YES - you can print a list of members! YES - brand new sponsorship opportunities will be online! YES - there will be easy access to our social media outlets and enhanced visibility for CTAA! I encourage you to visit www.ctaahq.org and look around and take it for a test drive! Thank you to all our business partners, management compa- ny reps and sponsors that participated in our Reverse Trade- show. We had several brand-new members participate, and this was a great intro to the organization. October will be a busy month with 2 Lunch and Learns, our Octoberfest Happy Hour which will feature an update from our government relations committee at the Thomas Hooker Brewery in Hartford and at the end of the month, our Em- ployee Training and Networking Day. This is a new educa- tion session that will feature tracks for both management and maintenance, as well as a comedy troupe to get us all laughing and interacting! Save the Date for our Annual Holiday Party and Nutmeg Awards taking place on December 5th. Nomi- nations will be open soon and we can’t wait to see who wins this year!
