5 ISSUE 1 2018 Happy New Year CTAA members and future members! T his pretty much sums it up doesn’t it? The winter is keeping us all busy - property managers and business partners alike. Maintenance in the winter is difficult at best - and managing burst pipes, damage and winter doldrums is a full-time job during the winter…Hang in there everyone - spring and fun CTAA events and education are coming soon! Coming up, March 8 th will be our St. Patrick ’s Day mem- ber giveback at Summit at Mill Ridge (a Paredim Com- munity) in East Haven. Food and drink will be provided, and there is no cost to attend, but you must pre-register. May the luck of the Irish be with you as we raff le off a $200 visa gift card! March 28 th will be our Annual Meeting at Anthony’s Ocean View in New Haven from 8:30 am to 10:30 am. The morning will feature a CTAA and NAA update, keynote speaker and our Installation of Officers and Directors. Bring a friend, potential members, a coworker and join us for the morning! April 11th is our annual Fair Housing session which will be held at the Best Western Plus in North Haven, CT. The session will be presented by David Carlson and Frank Flynn of the Flynn Law Group. Each attendee will receive a certificate of participation and 3 CEUs. I am excited to announce our 2018 sponsorship oppor- tunity package which allows for both management and business partners to promote with CTAA affordably. More information is included in this issue.
