Pub. 2 2017 Issue 6

5 ISSUE 6 2017 Hello CTAAMembers and Future CTAAMembers! I can’t believe it's 2018! This year has flown by and we have done a lot! From online learning to classroom trainings, our Tradeshow and Reverse Tradeshow, advocacy and legislative monitoring, charitable giving, happy hours and member givebacks, committee meetings and special events, 2017 saw a lot of activity for CTAA and our members. 2018 promises to offer even more - with a new Association Management Platform and website coming, NAA designations will be offered, Fair Housing training will take place in April. We will continue our important advocacy efforts on behalf of our members and the industry and we are planning some very special events! Stay tuned and make sure to like, follow and share on social media for all the latest and greatest! Thank you to everyone who came out to our Annual Nut- meg Awards and Holiday Party! Once again, we were at Bill Miller’s Castle in Branford on December 13th. This year we saw a record number of attendees, sponsors and award nominations! It was a very exciting night! All of our winners are listed in this issue and make sure to check out all the photos online! Thank you to American Integrity Restoration, CSC Serviceworks, Belfor, Maineline Graph- ics, Bouvier Insurance, American Safewash and United Cleaning and Restoration for their sponsorship of this event. Thanks to the hardwork and efforts of the Events Committee, we collected over 1,000 lbs of food and $1010 cash for the CT Food Bank! Great job! I hope to see you at a CTAA event soon! Thank you for your continued support. Jessica Olander Executive Director
