20 www.ctaahq.org FOURTH ANNUAL CHARITY GOLF TOURNAMENT T his summer, on June 22nd, Belfor Property Restoration partnered with Trio Properties to support TeamBrent Wheels and the Pan-Mass Challenge for their Fourth Annual Charity Golf Tournament. The Pan-Mass Challenge supports the Dana Farber Cancer Institute each year with a grueling, 192-mile, charity bike-a-thon that spans the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. This year Jeremy Browning, Managing Director for Trio Real Estate Services, rode in his third Pan-Mass Challenge as a member of TeamBrent Wheels, a Connecticut based cycling team fundraising for neuroblastoma, a specific type of cancer affecting young children. Tournament day was a huge success, with over 110 golfers teeing off shot gun style, first thing in the morning to clear skies and near perfect temperatures. The tournament featured a game of golf poker, a hole in one contest, longest drive contests, and ended with a huge pig roast lunch. All golfers and sponsors celebrated the end of the day with an award ceremony, raffles, and a silent auction. Volunteers were scattered throughout the golf course ensuring, registration was a breeze, drinks were full, raffles were purchased, and to keep the tournament running efficiently as possible. The day ended with Belfor Property Restoration raising over $6000 to benefit TeamBrent Wheels and the Dana Farber Cancer Institute. The Belfor Annual Charity Golf Tournament continues to be a huge success year after year. An enormous thank you to all the golfers, sponsors, volunteers, Lyman Orchards Golf Club, and all those who donated towards such a great cause. Looking forward to another great tournament next year!
