Pub. 2 2017 Issue 3

5 ISSUE 3 2017 Hello CTAA Members and Future CTAAMembers! I t has been a busy Spring and we are rolling right into summer! Our series of online learning, in conjunction with Multifamily Insiders was well received. These are one hour online learning sessions covered topics including human resources, leasing and reputationmanagement. Wewill continue these sessions throughout the summer and into the Fall. Remember each hour of learning counts for 1 CEC which can be used towards your renewal for industry designations. We have our third annual reverse tradeshow taking place on July 18th at Angellico’s in East Hampton. This event sells out, so please register as soon as possible! Invites and sponsorship information is included in this issue. Our lunch and learn series has been very well received, covering Fire Safety, The Opioid Crisis in our Communities, Workplace Harassment and Financing for Owners. Thanks to our lunch sponsors Bouvier Insurance and Digital Media LLC. We will be setting our schedule for the Fall shortly. If you have a topic, and or a property to showcase, please let me know! Kate Good - Apartment All Star - was a high energy leasing event and CTAA is proud to continue offering nationally recognized speakers and first class education! The Legislative session ended this year, with CTAA monitor- ing over 50 proposed bills, and providing testimony on several bills that would have had a major impact on our members. For a complete end of session report, visit our advocacy page at www.ctaahq.org/advocacy for the latest. I hope to see you at a CTAA event soon! Thank you for your continued support.
