If you have any stories or anecdotes worth sharing, please submit them to mmiller@trioproperties.com and we will anonymously share your story. Let’s face it, we’ve all seen something to make us scratch our heads or put a smile on our face. That’s what we would like to share with the rest of our community. A few years back, in the late summer of 2013, we received an after-hours call from a property owner who reported that a wild turkey flew through the plate glass window of his kitchen, while the family was sitting down to dinner (not sure what they were serving). The property owner reported the scene as: broken glass everywhere, and blood on the floor. He told our supervisor on-call that the turkey was laying in the middle of the floor. We gathered a crew to respond to the scene to board up the window and provide a clean-up of the mess. Upon arrival a short time later, the property owner met our technicians at the door. He reported that there was still glass and blood to clean up, but between his call to us and our arrival, the turkey woke up, YOU WOULDN’T BELIEVE! and flew back out the same window it came in. We were unable to find the turkey, but given the proximity to Thanksgiving, we suspect that the turkey immediately went into hiding.
