I‘ve worked for Precision Concrete Cutting (aka PCC, and SafeSidewalks.com) for just about two years now. Our focus is remediating sidewalk trip hazards using a patented saw-cutting technology, which makes sidewalks immediately ADA compliant. I work primarily as a business development manager nding solutions for property managers, condo associations, nursing homes, apartment complexes and housing authorities. PCC works with just about anyone who has concrete sidewalks that are in need of trip hazard removal, including numerous municipalities and schools. Tell us a little bit about your work history? In my previous life I was a Director for a national cinema advertising company, covering New England and New York. I developed a team in a rapidly growing industry with a lot of competition. My background also includes operations, b2b sales. I left my career behind to raise my children, during which time, I worked as a virtual assistant, handling o ce functions, and sales and marketing in the tness and multi- level marketing arenas. I also worked, and continue to work, with our schools and the Board of Education to ensure that our children are receiving the best education possible. What do you enjoy most about working for PCC? Having a state of the art service that is fairly new to this part of the country allows us to provide an a ordable, quality alternative to our customers, which, in many cases, they didn’t know existed. We’re able to save our clients a great deal of money, freeing up their budgets for other necessities that may not have otherwise been addressed. I also like that I work for a company that wants to build their business by doing the right thing by their clients. You’re stuck on an island, what two items would you bring and why? Is it a tropical island? Because I would need sunblock and a whole lot of Pina Coladas if that were the case. And maybe a beach chair. What would you be voted “most likely to do” by your co-workers? Volunteer for something. Having been a Neighborhood Association President and PTA President, I realize that it’s di cult to nd people to volunteer to keep things running. So I have a habit of volunteering because I want to make a di erence and be involved in how things move forward. What do you like to do in your spare time? Spare time? What’s that? Actually, I’m a bit of a tness enthusiast. I enjoy CrossFit (no I can’t lift 200 lbs.) and working out in general. I also enjoy the outdoors (in the warm weather)…. Hiking, camping, ropes courses, etc. My family goes on a camping road trip every summer as we’re trying to get the kids to every state. Thanks Diane and Precision Concrete Cutting!
